What does a Microcurrent Facelift Treatment look and feel like?
A Microcurrent Face Treatment is incredibly relaxing! We start out just like with any of our other wonderful facials.
• First we deep clean and use ozon rich steam to soften and prepare the skin.
• Then we follow with an exfoliation treatment to slough away old skin
cells and reveal fresh new skin.
• We then massage a special blend of serums into your skin that are
designed to deeply hydrate, nourish and to firm the skin.
• Next the practitioner puts on a pair of soft gloves that have silver
threads woven throughout to transmit the current. The gloves are
plugged into the Microcurrent machine and the practitioner performs
a specific facial massage for about 45 minutes to an hour, designed
to enhance the tone and firmness of the muscles while the
Microcurrent is transmitted into the skin.
• Last but not least we finish the treatment with the appropriate
Sunblock or Moisturizer.
The Microcurrent helps to deliver the serums that were applied earlier deeper into the tissue, thus enhancing their performance as well.
The Microcurrent mimics the body’s own natural current and is incredibly relaxing – many clients fall into a rejuvenating slumber while receiving the treatment.

Will I feel the current?
Most likely you will not feel the current. The current is so low that it doesn’t stimulate the sensory nerves. However, you might feel warmth or relaxation of the tissue.
Sometimes a light fluttering can be experienced and some people can feel the current around the jaw if they have a lot of fillings or metal implants. In that case the current can just be turned down a little.
Will I see results in just one session?
Most people can see a difference in the improvement of their muscles tone in just one treatment. However the results at first will be minimal and last for about 48 hours. This makes a single session ideal right before a big event. To achieve maximum and lasting results at least 10 to 12 weekly treatments are recommended. The Microcurrent has to build up in the tissue to re-educate the muscle and thus needs to be repeated to show lasting results.
Most people will see significant changes after a series of 10 – 12 treatments and can move on to a monthly follow up session to keep up the results. However, depending on age, health, diet, medications and lifesyle sometimes results take a little longer to be visible. In any case – the Microcurrent treatments are beneficial and improve the health of your cells and tissue by improving circulation, diminish inflammation, improving the lymph flow and improving collagen and elastin production, thus slowing down the signs of aging!

“Basic” Microcurrent Facelift Treatment

This Microcurrent Treatment includes either a professional peel or an Ultrasonic Dermabrasion treatment. Are there any contraindications?
There is no record of any permanent harm being done to anyone treated with Microcurrent.
However, if your are pregnant, have epilepsy, have cancer, a pacemaker or are an insulin dependant diabetic you are not a candidate for Microcurrent. Also if you have a cold sore/herpes blister on the treatment area we cannot perform a Microcurrent treatment.
